Are You Ready to be a Pioneer?

Just a few more days until you are on campus and ready to begin at DU! Make sure you peruse the full list of action items and let us know if you have any questions. To properly welcome you to campus, our Undergraduate Student Government president and vice-president have put together a video speaking to the Pioneer experience. We can't wait to see you!

Things to Do in Denver

For those of you traveling a little early (or for those of you who already live in Colorado and want to have an excuse to experience the city!), we've compiled a short list of some of the fun happenings in and around Denver.

Dual Degrees at Du

Did you know that DU offers an extensive list of dual degree programs? Programs that allow students to get their bachelor's and master's degree in less time, generally saving a year's worth of tuition? Read about our newest program offered through the Sturm College of Law.

The University of Denver cares about your health and safety while attending college. We require that all students complete an essential online course - "AlcoholEdu for College" - no later than August 31st. Information about the requirement and login information can be found here.

Students Getting Involved

Your first year at DU is a time to explore, to get involved and to try new things. Our students are engaged in everything from club sports to Greek Life, from religious organizations to the Center for Community Engagement & Service Learning, from Debate to Alpine Club. There are over 100 clubs that offer you an opportunity to get involved, all of which will be featured at the Pioneer Carnival on September 7th!

What should transfer students expect during Discoveries Orientation Week?

The Discoveries Orientation team is anxiously awaiting your arrival to the University of Denver campus! Our goal is to welcome you to our community and make your transition to college as smooth as possible. We recognize the needs of transfer students are different from those of first-year students and aim to provide you with information that is most pertinent to your transfer experience.
