Resources on Campus
When students arrive at the University of Denver we want them to know that they are in a supportive and caring environment, with students, faculty and staff that are eager to help them in their journey. There are many activities they will participate in during their Discoveries Orientation week (such as meeting with their faculty advisor, connecting with fellow students, and registering for classes) designed to assist them in making a smooth transition to campus. As they settle in to life at DU, they can begin to take advantage of the opportunities that will help them develop new skills, connections and overall wellness. For more information on available campus resources, please see our blog.

Parking Permits Now Available For Purchase
If your student will be bringing a car to campus, they may purchase a parking permit online starting Monday, July 16th at 9 a.m. To include the permit fee on your student tuition bill, the permit must be purchased by Sunday, August 5th. After August 5th, a credit card is the only method of payment. Some restricted lots will sell out quickly, so don’t wait to purchase your permit!
The Denver Publishing Institute (DPI) first opened its doors in July 1976 to a group of students from around the country, and abroad, eager to learn about book publishing. Since then, the four-week summer program has trained more than 3,000 students for the world of books. At the helm of this institution is Joyce Meskis, Publishing Institute director and Denver-area bookseller who is recognized as a leader in the book publishing industry.
